Prof. Ignace de Hingh serves as an unpaid Medical Advisor to UPyTher, providing clinical guidance for the development of the company’s innovative intraperitoneal therapies in oncology.  He is internationally recognized for his leadership in clinical innovation in peritoneal oncology and has led numerous national and international clinical trials focused on improving outcomes for patients with peritoneal carcinomatosis. His expertise in cytoreductive surgery and intraperitoneal drug approaches plays an important role in guiding the clinical translation of UPyTher’s lead programs. Prof. de Hingh is a surgical oncologist at the Catharina Cancer Institute and Professor at Maastricht University. He has authored more than 500 peer-reviewed publications and is founding chair of the Dutch Peritoneal Oncology Group and an active board member of the global Peritoneal Surface Oncology Group International (PSOGI).
