Ethlinn van Gaal leads Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) activities for UPyTher’s product portfolio. She holds a PhD in Pharmaceutics and brings more than a decade of experience in pharmaceutical product development and scale-up. Before joining UPyTher, she held senior positions at Enceladus, Cristal Therapeutics, OctoPlus, Dr. Reddy’s, and Micreos Pharma, where she guided complex therapeutic products from early development into the clinical stage. At UPyTher, Ethlinn is responsible for advancing the company’s proprietary hydrogel formulation platform and overseeing CMC development for lead program UPT-211. Her expertise in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing ensures efficient translation from preclinical innovation to clinical-grade production.
